Hiking to Little Duck Lake

August 15th, the team hiked the trails up to Little Duck Lake in the Russian Wilderness, loosely following behind the headstrong Mama Duck for an estimated 10 miles of trails. I say "loosely" because there was plenty of plant gawking, picture snapping, and "ooooo ahhhhs" along the way.

Goodbye Etna! Thank you for your hospitality!

The trail varied greatly depending on elevation; this is just one section.
Gideon eats everything. This time it was Rubus fruit.
